      Hi Leandra,
      Thank you for your lovely comment. You are absolutely spot-on right! The Mediterranean diet is also a practical approach to healthy weight loss and more importantly, influencing the metabolism of fats and fat distribution in the body, hence contributing to the prevention of the so-called diseases of affluence.
      I will explore this angle in the forthcoming nutritional workshop I am organising in the London Natural Health Centre. You are more than welcome to attend if you are interested. I am as yet to confirm the date (21 Sep).
      And for many other reasons, the next workshop in the series, in October, will be about natural approaches to weight management…
